Gemtwinement uses a simple knotting technique and entwines threads of gemstone chips to show the chips off in a unique effect. The chips are complemented with metal beads and seed beads to add character and interest.

The great thing about this necklace is that you can choose your favourite semi-precious stone or glass chip to use, and once you have made the necklace you will find you can apply the technique to all sorts of small lightweight beads, like in the picture below.
